E-Learning Instructor Guide

1.       COURSE MANAGEMENT

1.1.2          Welcome Announcement

Before the course start date, post a welcome announcement in your course.  Welcome your students to your course. Acquaint them with the course navigation (i.e., how to get started, where specific items can be found, how they can contact you, where to go if they are having difficulty, and more). On the first day of class, copy this announcement and paste it in an email to the entire class.
