Detailed assignments usually require more time to grade. As a general rule, assignments should be graded within one week after the assignment’s due date. If more time is needed (e.g., multiple assignments submitted concurrently or unforeseen circumstance arises), tell your students (by way of an announcement posted to your course and a sent e-mail to all students) when they should expect to see their assignments graded and their grades posted. Timely feedback, which includes grading, supports student learning.
