4.5   How to Record Web Attendance

During the Census period, you will be asked to record student attendance to your Web-Based course.  Record an “E” indicating student’s first day of attendance. If a student has never attended, mark the NO SHOW box and leave all other fields blank in the date columns. DO NOT mark an A for absent if you check this box.

Step 1 – Login to MySCC
Step 2 – On the Quick Launch Pad to the left, click “WebAdvisor”
Step 3 – On WebAdvisor Main Menu, click “Faculty” on right
Step 4 – On WebAdvisor for Faculty, under Faculty Information, click “Web Attendance Tracking”
Step 5 – On Web Attendance Tracking Menu, click “Attendance Tracking” on right
Step 6 - From Start Date >> type the current date
Step 7 – Choose the radio button for the class for which you want to record attendance and, then, click “Submit”
Step 8 – Record an “E” for each student when they complete the Census activity during the Census period, and record a checkmark under the “No Show” column for students who do not complete the Census activity before the Census period end date.
Step 9 – Check the signature certification statement and the final submission statement before submitting the finalized form at the end of the semester
